With Lieselotte, Alexander Steffensmeier has created a wonderful character with which children can identify. When normal everyday life takes place in the cowshed, children can giggle about small mishaps to their hearts’ content.
When Lieselotte loses that one package the farmer has impatiently been waiting for, she has a guilty conscience. Only the child looking at the picture book knows that the farmer has already found her package while Lieselotte is still desperately looking for it. A turbulent search adventure with lots of surprises, crazy chicken and a real happy ending.
