Lieselotte is looking forward to her birthday party with all of her friends. But everything remains strangely quiet. Is no one making preparations? The farmer’s wife has not baked a cake, the garden is not decorated and the chickens are busy doing other things. Does nobody remember that it’s her birthday?
Sadly, she gathers together some candles, puts on last year’s birthday hat and secretly takes some biscuits from the kitchen. All on her own, she wanders down to the stream. But what’s that? All her friends are waiting there for her to congratulate her. the day turns into a fabulous party!
